Terms of Use
The rules for using AnyMap: your account, Premium, the community, and your safety.
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Tech10 UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Mailänder Platz 11, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany ("we"). They apply to the AnyMap app and to this website. By using AnyMap, you agree to them.
You get the app from the App Store or Google Play. Their terms apply to the download and to purchases too. If you got AnyMap from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for AnyMap; we are.
How we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
02Who may use AnyMap
You must be 16 or older. If you are not yet an adult where you live, you need the permission of a parent for purchases.
03Your health and safety
Indoor cycling is hard exercise. Talk to a doctor before you start, above all if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, an injury, or are pregnant. Stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or chest pain.
- FTP tests and hard intervals ask for your maximum. Only ride them when you are healthy and rested.
- In ERG mode the trainer holds the power, however slowly you pedal. Know how to stop it before you start.
- Set up your trainer, bike and room as the makers say. Keep children and pets away from the bike. Keep a fan and water near.
- Zones, FTP, estimates and training plans are for training only. They are not medical advice.
You ride at your own risk, within the limits in "Liability".
04Your account
You can ride without an account, as a guest. With an account you sign in with a code to your email address. Keep access to that address safe: whoever can read your email can sign in as you. An account is for one person.
Your username must follow the community rules below. We may change a username that breaks them.
05The service
AnyMap lets you ride routes on real roads in a 3D world on your smart trainer, train with workouts and programs, test your FTP, race other riders, and see your stats.
- The world is built from OpenStreetMap and other open map data (© OpenStreetMap contributors). Roads, heights and places can be wrong or out of date.
- Speeds, the draft, watts and other numbers come from your devices and our physics. They can differ from riding outside, and from other apps.
- We work to keep AnyMap running, but we cannot promise it is always available or free of faults. Races can be cut short. We may change, add or remove features.
- You need a compatible smart trainer and devices, and an internet connection to ride with others.
07Community rules
AnyMap is a shared world. Chat messages, usernames, bios, profile pictures and route names are seen by others. Be fair and kind. We do not tolerate abuse. You must not:
- insult, harass, bully or threaten anyone;
- post hate, or attack people for who they are: origin, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age;
- post sexual, violent or otherwise offensive content;
- spam, advertise, or post links;
- share another person's personal data;
- pretend to be someone else, or to be part of AnyMap;
- post anything illegal, or that breaks someone else's rights.
Fair racing
Ride with your own legs. Do not fake or change your power, speed or weight, use a tampered trainer or tool, or use faults in AnyMap to get ahead.
What we do
A filter checks every chat message, and may refuse or hide it. Every rider can report a message and mute a rider. Several reports hide a message for everyone. Our team looks at reports. If you break these rules, we may, depending on how serious it is:
- hide or delete your content, or change your username;
- ban you from the chat, for a time or for good;
- remove your race results;
- block or delete your account.
To report something, long-press the message in the app, or write to hello@anymap.bike. We act on reports as fast as we can.
08Your content
What you create in AnyMap stays yours: your routes, workouts, bio, picture and messages. So that AnyMap can work, you allow us, free of charge and worldwide, to store it, build routes from it, change its format, and show it to other riders. For your profile, messages and workouts this ends when you delete them or your account.
A route you add to the world is there for every rider, and stays in the world after you delete your account, without your name. You may only send in routes and pictures you have the right to use.
09Our rights
The app, its design, code, texts and our routes belong to us or our licensors. You may use AnyMap for yourself, not for business, as these terms allow. You must not:
- copy, sell or pass on the app;
- take it apart or decode it, unless the law allows it;
- read our servers with bots or scripts, or put them under heavy load;
- get around Premium, limits or safety measures.
10Liability
We are liable without limit:
- for intent and gross negligence;
- for injury to life, body or health;
- under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz);
- where we gave a guarantee.
For slight negligence, we are liable only when we break a duty that is essential to this agreement, one you rely on for it to work. Then our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of agreement. In all other cases of slight negligence, we are not liable. These limits also apply to our staff and helpers.
11Ending
You can stop using AnyMap at any time, and delete your account in the app.
We may end your use with four weeks' notice. If you break these terms seriously, we may block your account at once. If you have paid for Premium and we end your use without your fault, you get back what you paid for the time left.
12Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when AnyMap or the law changes. We tell you about a change that matters for you in the app or by email, before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can end your use and delete your account.
13Law and disputes
German law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, the rules of your own country that protect you still apply.
We are not willing or obliged to take part in a dispute settlement before a consumer arbitration board.
